Isthione Imprisoned

My character for one of the Dungeons and Dragons campaigns I play.

Isthione Golden-Oak was out hunting when a group of Yuan-Ti came through and decimated his village, destroying the only life he has ever known. Trained in the way of the Ranger since he was young, he vowed to get revenge for his kinsmen, his parents, and his bride. After hunting down the foul beasts, he slays a fair number of them before he is captured by the Yuan-Ti Anathema, a horrible, but immensely powerful, creature praised as demi-gods by the Yuan-Ti. Instead of slaying the elf, he "rewarded" the elf for his power and bravery by "improving" him, intending to make him into a personal slave, bodyguard, and trophy. After many months of torturous grafting, the once proud elfs mind was at its limits, not due merely to psionic attacks attempting to control him, but also due to the physical ordeals that he went through. Yuan-Ti grafts are long, painful, and disgusting processes in which different aspects of the Yuan-Ti are given, whether by force or the subjects free-will, to another race. Now, Isthione appeared quite similar to the damned monsters that destroyed his home. His skin was scaly, hard, and green, and fangs that oozed a bitter tasting poison upon his tongue replaced his canines. His tailbone extended into an eight foot long tail, which lazily slithered behind him. Two asps were attached to his back, between his shoulders and his shoulder blades. They were both very much alive, and constantly slithered around, coiling around his body as they pleased, unless he commanded them otherwise. But for most of his imprisonment, he never cared. He barely ate, the only nourishment he received was from the snakes, which ate the mice and other rodents offered to them by the Yuan-Ti guardian who watched over Isthione. Had he been aware that they were keeping him alive, Isthione would have commanded them to stop eating long ago. But now, the grafting was completed, and all that awaited was the arrival of a particularly powerful psionic user, to completely break his will. But he wasn't going to arrive for at least two weeks, and a lot can be accomplished in two weeks. Especially, thought Isthione, when you are as good at acting defeated as I am, hiding a smile from his jailor.

I only spent a few hours on this, I am Hoping to go back and fine tune it and make it much cleaner. Also, if I'm not too lazy, I plan to do several more of these. Stay Tuned!
